The Ella Baker Center for Human Rights is focused on advancing racial and economic justice for people of color and low-income people in California.

ellabakerIn 2014, voters passed Proposition 47, which reduced non-violent drug and property crime sentencing and shifted public funding away from high prison and law enforcement spending. RALLY analyzes the current media landscape to support the Center and its site partners’ efforts for transparency and accountability of Proposition 47 funding.
