Smart Tech Challenges Foundation

RALLY works with leading technology luminaries and entrepreneurs of Silicon Valley to address the problem of gun violence by spurring technological innovation and free market solutions. Gun violence is the second leading cause of death among children aged 10-19 in the United States, but potential solutions are often complicated by political and public gridlock. RALLY was engaged to build and run the Smart Tech Challenges Foundation, an organization hosting a series of $1 million challenges that invite innovators from around the globe to address gun violence through the strategic application of entrepreneurial energy. The Foundation uses the challenge philanthropy model to offer leading scientists, technologists, and innovators competitive incentives to develop technologies that reduce gun violence in four focused issue areas with high potential for impact: smart firearms, big data analytics, brain health, and community safety. We have worked with the Smart Tech Challenges Foundation since its inception, providing strategic guidance on all aspects of foundation, communications, and campaign management.
