RALLY has been working with the state’s largest health foundation, The California Endowment, since 2008. The work with the Endowment is focused on driving a statewide dialogue around equity in healthcare for California’s most vulnerable communities. RALLY helped The Endowment raise awareness around a variety of issues including the Affordable Care Act, healthy school meals, access to clean water, common-sense school discipline policies, childhood trauma, and investment in boys and young men of color by driving earned media, brand development, and conference and event execution in diverse communities across California.
RALLY also executed a host of high-impact partnerships with First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” Program, Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation and The Jamie Oliver Food Foundation.
Most recently, RALLY has been working on Building Healthy Communities (BHC), The California Endowment’s 10-year, $1 billion community initiative to transform 14 of California’s communities most devastated by health inequities into places where all people have an opportunity to thrive. RALLY is helping these 14 BHC sites build their communications capacity and nurture civically engaged communities with the skills and relationships necessary to tackle their unique challenges.
