The Entertainment Industry Foundation

Hollywood’s leading charity, The Entertainment Industry Foundation, retained RALLY to provide communications and issue management strategies to help advance initiatives addressing critical health issues, particularly smoking cessation and youth tobacco awareness programs. RALLY worked with the EIF to negotiate and promote an unprecedented agreement with the six major Hollywood studios to include anti-smoking public service announcements on every youth-rated DVD of movies that include smoking scenes. RALLY also helped the EIF develop and publicize its Hollywood Unfiltered program, an effort to educate the entertainment industry about the negative impact of on-screen smoking.
