RALLY is proud to announce that Shayna Englin has joined the firm as a Principal, continuing the firm’s successful expansion of top talent to serve a growing list of clients. Englin comes to RALLY from Change.org, where she served as Managing Director, North America. Prior to Change.org, Shayna was recognized by Campaigns & Elections magazine as one of the fifty most influential leaders changing the future of political consulting and the way the industry thinks about campaigns. The firm also announced that Latia Curry, a veteran strategist and Director in RALLY’s Los Angeles office, has been promoted to Principal. In her three years at RALLY, Curry has led the firm’s work with major clients including The California Endowment and Google.org, while running talent acquisition and development for the firm as head of its ‘People and Culture’ vertical.
As Principals, Curry and Englin will lead diverse portfolios of projects and help to grow the firm’s expanding client roster. Both will be based out of the firm’s Los Angeles office and will report directly to RALLY President Felix Schein.

At Change.org, Englin led a team of professionals encompassing a wide range of functions: communications, email strategy, partnerships, external affairs, and campaign strategy. She led the team through a time of significant change at the company, including a complete overhaul of the business model, and helped drive unprecedented results — from partnerships with First Lady Michelle Obama to explosive media and campaigns work on some of the most pressing national issues, including sexual assault, criminal justice reform, gun violence, food security and much more.
Immediately prior, she served as a Managing Director at Mercury Public Affairs following seven years as the CEO of her Washington, DC-based public affairs firm, Englin Consulting, which was ultimately acquired.

At RALLY, Curry manages a portfolio of clients, including Reddit, Google.org, NBCUniversal and The California Endowment. She will continue to oversee the firm’s ‘People and Culture’ vertical, in which she leads on talent acquisition and professional development. Curry has also led work with Gap Inc. and The Shriver Report with Maria Shriver. Previously, Curry spent three years marketing UNICEF to corporate philanthropists as Senior Director of Partner Engagement and Special Initiatives at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. She has also worked as a senior advisor to New York Governor David Paterson and founded and ran a strategic communications firm, Statement, based in New York.

Curry’s promotion and Englin’s addition to RALLY continue the firm’s exciting talent expansion, including high-profile hires from the White House and California Attorney General Kamala Harris’s office, and a growing roster of clients from throughout the country. In the last year, RALLY has collaborated with clients including NARAL Pro-Choice America and Rock the Vote, and helped deliver key victories, including a major win for charter public schools in Washington State, the announcement of 10 XQ Super Schools and a successful campaign to protect California’s first-in-the-nation statewide ban on single-use plastic bags.
