Alex Hammarstedt is a Designer based in RALLY’s San Francisco office. Alex brings imaginative solutions to graphic design projects across all mediums; including print, digital, web, and interactive. She aspires to create work that is both meaningful and memorable.
At RALLY, Alex works closely with account teams to ensure her designs are appropriately targeted to each client’s larger brand strategy. Her scope of work includes creating advertisements, social media content, websites, print materials, and more.
Before joining RALLY, Alex was the Art Director for SOMA Magazine, a bi-monthly publication dedicated to discovering and featuring trendsetting creatives. Supplementing the print heavy magazine work, Alex dabbled in freelance digital and web design, keeping herself up-to-date with the latest in design trends and technologies.
Alex graduated from Boston University, where she spent four years in the middle of a blizzard, studying Art Direction and History of Art and Architecture before escaping to the better coast. While at school she created award-winning designs with an advertising team as part of BU’s AdLab program.
In her free time, Alex tries to spend as much time outside as possible. Her current favorite activities are water-skiing and surfing; and entertaining her co-workers with a new face-plant story every Monday.
