Kaitlin Funaro is a Director at RALLY specializing in communication strategy, media relations, and executing large scale events. She has a background in news production and spent seven years as a producer and reporter in business, technology, and breaking news.
Kaitlin is proud to work on issue areas she cares about deeply including reproductive rights, gender equity, and gun violence prevention. Recently, Kaitlin worked with March for Our Lives to plan and execute the first national convention of youth gun violence prevention activists and led the development of a new multimedia research project on best practices in issue advocacy for the Omidyar Network. Kaitlin also works with Pivotal Ventures and the Susan Crown Exchange on reimagining the concept of digital well-being and with C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group to create new messaging to expand the audience for zero emissions vehicles.
Kaitlin helped launch TIME’S UP London by shaping communications and messaging for TIME’S UP’s presence at the BAFTA awards in 2018 and helped execute a strategy to allocate $20 million donated by CBS to organizations working in the sexual assault space.
Prior to joining RALLY, Kaitlin worked as a producer in Los Angeles for NPR affiliate KPCC and American Public Media’s ‘Marketplace’, and in London for the BBC and BBC World Service. Outside of work, Kaitlin is usually at one of Hollywood’s many music venues or drinking coffee at the park with her two small kids.
