Kathryn Burke is a Senior Account Executive at RALLY’s Los Angeles office where she specializes in strategic communications development, policy advocacy, and campaign management.
At RALLY, Kathryn uses her expertise to advance the goals of our issue-driven clients, focusing on issues like educational equity. She is dedicated to creating lasting change through communications and advocacy.
Previously, Kathryn worked at Cerrell, a boutique public affairs firm in Los Angeles where she was a part of the issues management and campaigns team. She built stakeholder coalitions, managed elected official education and engagement, and developed and ran public education campaigns, focusing much of her work in the healthcare space. Kathryn also created and launched the firm’s social impact practice area.
Kathryn began her career as a Teach for America corps member, teaching 5th grade in the Louisiana Delta. While in Teach for America, she was a fellow at the Louisiana Department of Education, managing communication between the LDOE and school districts regarding education policy initiatives and legislation.
A Floridan, Kathryn graduated from the University of Virginia and received her Master of Public Policy from the University of Southern California. When not working, you can find her working to elect women, exploring Southern California hiking trails, or reading at the beach.
