Lana Ramadan is an Account Associate in RALLY’s San Francisco office with experience in message development, political strategy, and media relations.
At RALLY, Lana supports the media outreach and communications strategy for GoFundMe to engage reporters and elevate national and local stories in a variety of publications. Lana also works with XQ: The Super School Project, a national initiative to rethink and redesign America’s high school system, on media relations and communications strategy.
Previously, Lana combined experience in digital content management with strategic messaging to guide Students Matter, a national nonprofit organization that seeks to improve access to quality public education, in engaging and activating parents through the tough challenges facing California public schools. She has also helped launch Resilient by Design | Bay Area Challenge, a collaborative research and design project developing innovative solutions to a changing climate, through press and event coordination, digital marketing, social media content, and messaging.
Prior to RALLY, Lana worked on criminal justice reform at a social impact firm in Los Angeles, where she developed messaging and strategy for several California Endowment campaigns. She also guided policy research and developed messaging and digital content for influential artists and nonprofits.
Born and raised in California, Lana is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she majored in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies. When she’s not in the office, Lana enjoys trying new brunch spots and flying her friend’s drone around the Bay Area.
