Minerva Solís is an Account Associate in RALLY’s Los Angeles office with experience in strategic and bilingual communications, social entrepreneurship, international development, and community organizing. A Los Angeles native and first-generation college graduate, Minerva’s passion to uplift and celebrate BlPOC communities inspires her work at the firm.
At RALLY, Minerva works with clients on campaigns to achieve greater educational, racial, and socio-economic equity. She currently provides communications content and digital support for Tobacco Free California, a campaign aimed at improving the health of Californians by reducing illness from the use of tobacco products with a particular focus on the health impacts tobacco has on Black and Latinx communities. Additionally, Minerva works on creative advocacy campaigns for Imaginable Futures, a global philanthropic investment firm that works to provide every learner with the opportunity and the tools they need to imagine, and to realize, a brighter future.
Prior to joining RALLY, Minerva was a Fulbright Binational Business Fellow in Mexico City where she worked at México Media Lab, a boutique consulting agency. In this capacity, she conducted a regulatory analysis of sustainability legislation and international trade agreements across Mexico for the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) TechEmerge Project – an unparalleled initiative to help develop sustainable cooling technologies in emerging economies. Minerva has also worked as a Community Analyst at the Los Angeles Workforce Development Board helping to bring over $8 million to help formerly incarcerated people gain access to key resources in Los Angeles.
Minerva holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California in International Relations and Spanish. She has taken linguistics and communications courses at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid; sociology courses in São Paulo and Salvador da Bahia in Brazil; as well as MBA courses on entrepreneurship and communications at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City.
