Rachel is inspired by the increasing role nonprofits and foundations play in driving public policy at the local, state, and federal levels. At RALLY, Rachel is passionate about fulfilling campaign goals through strategic approaches to event and partnership development.
Rachel leads the partnership and events portfolio for the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ EVERYONE IN campaign to end homelessness in LA. Today, Startups in the Sky is the longest running tech event series in DTLA, bringing together over 150 startup founders, digital media specialists, artists, civic leaders, and entrepreneurs every other month.
Rachel has served the Los Angeles County region as a communications specialist for five years, first as the Communications Director at the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce and later serving as the Communications Director for the Los Angeles County Business Federation. Rachel has nurtured a passion for merging tech with the traditional business sector, specializing in event and partnership strategy, media relations, and government affairs.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rachel holds a degree from UC Berkeley in Sociology and Public Policy. She is passionate about activating communities through creative human “collisions.” Rachel currently resides in East Hollywood and is the lucky mother of two rescue kitties, Maya and Nina.
