René Verma joins RALLY’s San Francisco office as an Account Associate with experience in strategic communications, creative campaigning, and content development.
At RALLY, René works with healthcare unions like the SEIU-United Healthcare Workers West and the Registered Nurses Professional Association to produce, promote, and monitor digital content. She also supports the California Solar and Storage Association with media outreach, research, and messaging strategy and development.
Driven to think of big ideas through small gestures, René has previously worked with VICE Media on a short-form documentary series pitch around immigration and border reform, and with the International Gender Studies Centre, Oxford as a research associate. She also worked with The Walt Disney Company, India on a range of creative marketing and post-production projects. Her work in creative advocacy has involved developing and performing in digital campaigns with the BBC Arts Hour and Sofy India: debunking menstrual taboos, interrogating sexism in pop culture, and rethinking public safety.
A self-identified imp and tinkerer, René enjoys performing lyrical poetry, making memes of herself, and fervently watching lawn tennis (¡Vamos Rafa!). She appreciates museums, oceans, and beagles.
