Robert Nuñez is an Account Associate based in RALLY’s San Francisco office, with expertise in policy analysis, media relations, and communications strategy.
At RALLY, Robert works with The California Endowment, California’s largest health foundation, to manage social media profiles and coordinate communications strategy between RALLY and the 14 sites in the Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities network.
Robert also supports our Youth Speaks account with earned media and event planning. Youth Speaks is an international youth poetry organization that encourages young people to speak out on the pressing issues of our time.
Prior to joining RALLY, Robert spent his summer terms in Sacramento engaging in several fellowships through UC Berkeley’s Cal-in-Sac program. This included a stint in Senator Ricardo Lara’s office, where Robert assisted communications efforts around the Senator’s Health4All bill, aimed at extending health coverage to all Californians regardless of immigration status, and Senate Bill 1159 requiring the Department of Consumer Affairs to consider professional licensing for applicants regardless of immigration status.
Robert is a graduate of UC Berkeley where he majored in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics and Campaigns, as well as a minor in Public Policy. As an undergraduate, Robert held numerous board positions on Berkeley’s premiere Latino-serving Pre-Law Society, which fought to increase diversity in the legal field and serve communities traditionally lacking legal representation.
As a So-Cal native, Robert spends much of his off time debating whether to root for the SF Giants or LA Dodgers, if and when he decides to follow sports.
