Sam Gibson joins RALLY’s Los Angeles office as an Account Associate with experience in research, media analysis, and the development of strategic messaging. Her background is in journalism, copywriting, and long-form promotional writing for in-house organization publications.
At RALLY, Sam works to promote change across a range of equity issues, from climate injustice to the lack of representation of women in tech, supporting clients like the University of Chicago, SecondMuse, and the Fair Census Project in creating effective communications campaigns.
Sam joined RALLY as a fellow, a position in which she was able to provide support to the Center for Biological Diversity, assisting in content creation and on-site media relations for the November 2020 Youth Climate Strike in Los Angeles.
Sam is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. As a student, she worked as the Opinion and Managing Editor of the school newspaper, harnessing her decision-making and communications skills to foster dialogue around current events and issues. She also hosted various benefits around campus.
A recent Mississippi transplant, Sam has enjoyed sampling Los Angeles’s diverse cuisine and live performance scene, as well as her longtime hobbies of practicing improv and spending time with her dog.
