Dr. Toya Johnson-Moore is RALLY’s Manager of People and Culture based in the Los Angeles office. Dr. Toya is an Organizational Psychologist dedicated to helping people and organizations excel. After spending nearly a decade attracting, managing, training, and progressing the careers of an array diverse employees, Dr. Toya knows that a company’s most precious asset is their people and talent. Dr. Toya is excited to merge her interests in social justice and talent management in her role handling recruitment, selection, onboarding, and engagement for all of RALLY’s offices.
Dr. Toya utilizes HR business strategies that include recruiting diverse candidates and retaining the right people, as well as providing ethical and cultural leadership. She contributes to RALLY’s success by guiding training and development initiatives to promote employee productivity. Within her role, Dr. Toya oversees RALLY’s Fellowship, Internship, and Mentorship programs. Dr. Toya is a certified Human Resources professional by the premier credentialing agency HRCI. As a current subject matter expert, she writes exam content and enhances standards for emerging and executing HR practitioners. Previously, she presided on HRCI’s task force for the creation and development of the Associate Professional in HR (aPHR) certification. Dr. Toya currently serves on the Board of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of African-Americans In Human Resources (NAAAHR).
Outside of RALLY, Dr. Toya also enjoys supporting advocacy and leadership groups like the California State Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, and she was honored to be their inspirational keynote speaker for the Youth Awards Luncheon. Dr. Toya is a NorCal native, SoCal educated graduate from Phillips Graduate University where she earned her Doctorate of Psychology in Organizational Management and Consulting. Dr. Toya also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of La Verne.
