      With experience in strategic communications, brand development, and earned media, Alexia assists issues-driven organizations in highlighting and growing their impact. Her passion for diversity and equity stems from her roots in political activism, her education in journalism, and her love of community organizing. Alexia holds a B.A. in Journalism-Public Relations with minors in Leadership and Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies from Western Washington University. In her free time, you can find Alexia getting brunch with loved ones, going for a run on Seattle’s waterfront, or curled in a cozy blanket, switching between reading and scrolling on TikTok.

      Alexis is a passionate visual designer who creates bold, engaging, and inclusive experiences through the power of human-centered design. Leveraging her wide range of disciplines—illustration, brand design, and more recently, motion—her work exemplifies her belief that communication can be accomplished with the simple tools of color, shapes, and marks. At RALLY, she partners with internal and external changemakers to lead design development on a range of issues and campaign projects from a San Francisco campaign focused on solutions to ending homelessness to a winning statewide bond for California’s water and parks. A Golden State native, she and her husband stay active chasing their twin sons through the bakeries of SF and biking through the beautiful mountains of the Bay Area.

      Throughout her career, Alice (she/her/hers) has been driven by her commitment to maximize positive impact through the power of storytelling. With experience in local journalism, video production, and nonprofit communications, Alice has seen firsthand the impact of uplifting voices and narratives that are too often overlooked. Now, as a communications strategist, Alice’s writing, earned media, production, and community engagement skills come together to support RALLY clients across issue spaces, including health equity, racial justice, education, among others. Always striving to approach problems with empathy and creativity, Alice is motivated to help clients reach meaningful solutions to drive social change.

      A lifelong storyteller, Alisha (she/her/hers) is a passionate strategic communicator. She brings together insights-driven strategic planning, justice-focused messaging and narrative change, and results-oriented campaign management to help partners fight for progress where it’s most needed. From climate action to education equity and finding solutions to homelessness, Alisha is proud to work on some of the most pressing issues we face. At RALLY, Alisha has helped reimagine high school, advocate for the wellbeing of all San Franciscans, and build communities that flourish across the country. A second-generation immigrant, Michigander (Go Blue!), and Oxford comma enthusiast, Alisha believes in the collective power of individual stories to create lasting change. In her spare time, she enjoys collecting more books than she has time to read.

    • Alyssa Fong

      Alyssa (she/her) is an advocate, strategist, and creator who leverages issue communications to create a more just society. With a background  in political science, sociology, and gender studies from UCLA, she is passionate about uplifting the marginalized – whether through promoting racial justice, combating food insecurity, or championing educational equity. Her experience in communications spans written, spoken, and digital platforms, bringing her to organizations like March for Our Lives and the Partnership for Public Service. When not working, Alyssa can be found watching Survivor, lifting weights at the gym, or overspending on fresh fruit at the farmer’s market.

      Amber heads RALLY's Operations, overseeing tech setup and training initiatives, and ensuring smooth functioning across our offices. She plays a pivotal role in supporting the People and Culture team, contributing to talent acquisition for our esteemed Fellowship program, and planning firmwide experiences that aid RALLYers in tackling the issues we care about. A seasoned project manager, Amber has built resources to better foster valuable government partnerships, recognizing their pivotal role in making an impact. She’s refined our new business and marketing materials which have played an essential role in RALLY’s tremendous growth. As an essayist and performer, Amber knows the importance of story and the power it plays in creating positive change.

With a passion for authentic storytelling in her work supporting advocates for education equity, affordable housing, walkable communities and economic justice, Amy believes deeply that lasting change is possible when impacted people take the lead in advocating for their own futures. Amy stays connected to her community as a volunteer with local nonprofits, and loves to get her steps in during election season registering voters and getting out the vote.

      Amy is a communications strategist who is skilled at synthesizing big ideas, thinking across disciplines, and crafting resonant messaging to support her clients’ game-changing work. From youth power building to health equity, Amy strives to develop trusting relationships with her teams and her clients in a field where good thinking often comes from the collective. Amy was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area on Ohlone lands and currently lives in Los Angeles on Tongva lands - her time in both places has inspired a deep love for California’s cities and communities. When she’s not at work, you can find her taking long walks in her neighborhood and thinking about what she’ll cook for dinner.

    • Anna Mkhikian

      Anna is an experienced designer with a background in visual art. She  approaches each project through the lens of creative problem solving to help communicate complex ideas elegantly and clearly. She has a broad skill set in multiple disciplines within design — including lettering, illustration, branding, web design, and book design. Prior to joining RALLY, she partnered with California nonprofits focused on environmental and social justice, arts organizations, and education nonprofits to effectively communicate their messaging through design. A Los Angeles native by way of Armenian immigrant parents, outside of work you can find her baking, drawing, obsessing over musicals, and spending time with her tight-knit community in Los Angeles.

    • Annie Kim

      Annie is a seasoned communications strategist experienced in working collaboratively to create compelling messaging, drive earned media, and develop winning campaign plans that help change hearts and minds. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Annie has a deep understanding of the issues many Californians face and has worked nationally with nonprofits, government agencies, foundations, and corporations to prevent domestic violence, end urban oil drilling, address COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy, and tackle the many other social and environmental challenges RALLY works to push forward. Being a part of the BTS ARMY in her free time keeps Annie online and ahead of the digital curve. 

    • Anu Sarode

      Anu (she/her/hers) is a seasoned digital strategist with expertise in both organic and paid media, influencer strategy, and visual communications. Her professional journey includes collaborating with foundations, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations to devise and implement strategies driven by their mission. Anu's diverse project portfolio encompasses a range of issues, from art activism in partnership with the Bezos Family Foundation to land conservation initiatives alongside clients such as the Peninsula Open Space Trust. She is deeply committed to exploring the synergies among digital platforms, design, and advocacy to foster meaningful change. A lifelong resident of Southern California, Anu enriches her personal time by composing music and delving into classic murder mysteries.

    • Ashley Burns Nascimento

      A passionate communications strategist, Ashley focuses on racial and/or gender equity in education, health, housing, economic empowerment, and other social issues. From listening sessions with community matriarchs to focus groups in conservative rural communities, Ashley’s work across the country helps fuel positive change through capacity building, community engagement, and messaging analysis. In short, she helps organizations and coalitions refine their voice to break through “noisy” landscapes and reach ambivalent audiences in unexpected ways. Prior to RALLY, Ashley led communications and media events for international product launches at Microsoft, Minecraft Education, Skype in the Classroom, LEGO, NASA, and various startups.

    • Becca Roithmayr

      From litigation communications to influencer marketing, Becca engages with a robust list of organizations leading the charge in social justice work. By utilizing her background in strategic communications and community outreach, while continuing to expand her knowledge of digital marketing, Becca provides her teams with a balanced perspective of what tactics drive the most progress. Since her time at RALLY, Becca has played an active part in the development and execution of successful campaigns, focusing on issues impacting her community such as solutions to homelessness and police brutality.

    • Bill Rui

      Bill is an accomplished communications strategist with extensive experience in issue advocacy. He has worked as a campaign consultant for candidates at all levels in California and is always on the lookout for the next innovative messaging strategy that inspires people towards action. Prior to his work in campaigns and strategic communications, Bill spent nearly a decade on the ground advocating for youth and education. He’s worked for the House of Representatives, a national education nonprofit, and at his hometown youth services center. Originally from the East Coast, he enjoys cheffing up delicious dishes at home, playing volleyball on the courts, or indulging in the arts.

    • Brian Denney

      Brian is an innovative communicator who brings his background working in the education and civil justice spaces to help clients tell their stories. Prior to joining RALLY, Brian worked at the American Association for Justice, where he helped lead the association’s communications and digital efforts to pass a critical, bipartisan bill that ended forced arbitration for survivors of sexual assault and harassment. Having worked as a rural organizer on the U.S. Senate races of Senator Jon Tester and Amy McGrath, he is passionate about creating opportunities across rural communities. Outside of work, Brian can be found competing in his local tennis and kickball leagues.

    • Brooke Maher

      Brooke is a seasoned professional with a passion for developing bespoke communications strategies that drive positive change through social impact and sustainability initiatives. She has extensive experience in crafting impactful earned and digital media strategies for a diverse range of corporations, brands, and non-profits, leveraging her insightful and holistic approach to communications. Brooke is skilled in analyzing complex issues and discovering new opportunities to create meaningful impact, resulting in resonant messaging that connects with diverse audiences. In her leisure time, Brooke enjoys outdoor adventures and attending live music events. She is also an avid reader with a love for acquiring new books.

    • Caroline Smith

      Caroline is a communications strategist dedicated to combining her passion for advocacy with her storytelling experience. Caroline works with clients focused on education equity using strategic communications to transform the current landscape and create equal opportunities for all students. An earned media specialist, Caroline previously worked in lifestyle public relations developing public relations campaigns, crafting press releases, and securing multiple placements in high-profile publications. She is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California where she explored her interests in advocacy through her communications coursework taught by leaders in the nonprofit sector. As a New York native, Caroline enjoys trying new restaurants and finding the best pizza in Los Angeles.

    • Cathy Chen

      Cathy is a digital strategist well versed in digital advertising, social media strategies, and website management. She has expertise in executing digital and strategic communications campaigns advocating for environmental justice, accessible education, and health equity. Cathy’s bilingual fluency also allows her to work with various government agencies throughout California in bridging the language gap to access vital public services. As “going digital” becomes a necessity, Cathy believes digital outreach helps amplify advocacy efforts and is a key tool to drive social change—one person at a time. When she isn’t at her desk, you can often find her at the beach or traveling the world.

    • Chantal Wong

      Chantal (she/her/hers) is a communications strategist who specializes in navigating complex issues for nonprofits, foundations, and corporations. She has worked on a diverse range of issues including education equity, environmental justice, and global health. Driven by the possibility of an equitable world, Chantal strives to approach each issue with creativity. She has worked with researchers to translate key insights and technical concepts into powerful and compelling stories, advanced health and education equity by elevating critical missing voices, and managed responses to racial injustices at the national level. In her free time you can find her trying out the newest arts and crafts trend to keep her creative juices flowing.

    • Christopher Palafox

      Account Executive, Design

      Los Angeles

      Chris works with RALLY’s clients to create social media graphics, websites, and digital designs that help further their messages and drive positive change. He earned his BFA in Graphic Design at Art Center College of Design where his emphasis focused on Transmedia, a storytelling technique that translates a brand across various mediums including motion, print, web design, and interactive design. When he’s not creating illustrations, motion graphics, or using his design skills to create visual solutions to complex design problems, he loves going to arcades, hiking, camping, and spending time with his dog Remi, short for Rembrandt.

    • Claire Shipton

      Associate Director

      San Francisco

      With expertise in message development, narrative change, and campaign management, Claire knows what inspires folks to think differently about issues and take action. She is passionate about distilling complex social problems and research findings into relatable messages, so people understand how policies impact their lives. Claire's experience working for elected representatives and with nonprofits, foundations, and advocacy organizations allows her to clearly see social challenges from many different angles in order to develop insights and strategies that result in real change. She works on issues ranging from sustainability to economic justice to education equity. Claire is a committed home cook and an avid hiker—hobbies that refuel her in her work to create positive change.

    • David Edwards

      Director, People and Culture

      Los Angeles

      With 10 years of experience in a variety of human resources and recruiting roles, David leads RALLY’s People and Culture work, overseeing recruitment, selection, onboarding, RALLY’s mentorship program, and staff culture. His knowledge and practice of founding and building HR practices at numerous companies engaged in rapid growth, helps David support RALLY in its current phase of expansion. Beyond David’s expertise of HR business strategies, he also has experience in messaging, branding, and content creation for urban education organizations. A native of Trenton, NJ, David holds a BA from Williams College.

    • Derek Jansen

      Senior Director

      San Francisco

      Derek is a political and communications strategist with extensive experience shaping complex issues into effective campaigns. He brings a unique combination of discipline and creativity to persuading audiences to take action for candidates, ballot measures, and issues. Derek worked on the award-winning Prop 68 initiative, a $4.1 billion bond for water, parks, and natural resources in California, and helped launch and drive earned media for Resilient by Design, a community-driven design challenge to strengthen the Bay Area’s resilience to sea level rise. With more than a decade of experience in California politics and issue advocacy, Derek has helped clients launch and execute campaigns across a broad set of issues including educational equity, public power, tobacco control, climate action, criminal justice reform, and public health.

    • Derwin Aikens

      Derwin (he/him) is a strategic communications specialist with a background in media relations, crisis communications, and message development. Derwin has a passion for crafting narratives that dare to imagine a better world. As an example, he worked with the California Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force to help draft and place numerous op-eds and other earned media stories that correct and address concerns about vaccine safety and efficacy. From education and social justice topics to correcting misinformation and narrative change, he believes in the power of storytelling and data to change hearts and minds, and create the more equitable future that so many seek.

    • Destiny Willis

      Destiny is a dynamic communications strategist with a background in student advocacy, nonprofit outreach, and labor union operations. Through her involvement with the nation's first College of Ethnic Studies at San Francisco State University, she developed a deep fascination with the history of social movements and the power of storytelling. Passionate about building a better world, Destiny is thrilled to partner with organizations that share her commitment to positive change. She aims to amplify compelling narratives that not only captivate audiences but also empower RALLY clients to make a lasting impact.

    • Devin McMahon

      Devin is a communications specialist with expertise in message development, media relations, event planning, and communications strategy. Grounded in the belief that narrative change is a critical tool for systems change, Devin is dedicated to working alongside activists to uplift their voices, work, and messages. At RALLY, she’s had the privilege of doing just that on issues ranging from homelessness to environmental justice, education equity, racial and gender justice, among others. Born and raised in Los Angeles - with a four year stint in Ohio while studying Politics at Oberlin College - Devin spends her time off the clock hunting down the city’s best vegetarian tacos and flea market finds.

    • Elle Carlos

      With a love of storytelling that meets people where they are and amplifies unheard voices, Elle is a passionate communications strategist and collaborator. Her project management skills allow her to provide expertise in creative content production, messaging development, and earned media. She has worked with nonprofits, government agencies, and foundations to lead positive social change and foster a culture of inclusion. Elle was born and raised in San Bernardino, California on the Yuhaaviatam/Maara’yam (Serrano) lands, but despite her west coast roots, she is a lifelong Ohio State Buckeye fan. She enjoys creative writing and is an amateur baker—a hobby that challenges her creativity and keeps her humble.

In an era where digital is no longer a “nice-to-have”, all organizations, no matter their purpose or size, should be empowered to use digital means effectively to reach, engage, and activate their audiences—Elyse’s mission is to identify how to do that strategically and efficiently. Whether that means employing influencer marketing, advertising, social media, websites, email, or brand new tactics, her recommendations come from a heavily-researched, data-driven and audience-first approach. Elyse’s curiosity not only supports her work at RALLY, but takes her from the corners of the globe to the depths of Wikipedia.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and is passionate about sharing lived experiences through engaging and beautiful narratives. When she's not working, you can find Emily browsing used bookstores or antique shops.

She has worked with organizations that address the U.S. affordable housing crisis,  immigration policy, and international affairs. As a biracial, Jewish woman with dual American and Canadian citizenship, Emma’s greatest joy comes from giving back to her communities and unifying diverse groups. As a retired Division I college volleyball player, Emma thrives on being a collaborative and communicative teammate.

Her passion for authentic storytelling and lifting up the voices of those commonly left out of the conversation fuels her determination to grow the impact and reach of issue-driven nonprofits. She holds a Bachelor's in Communication from the University of Washington with an emphasis in Social and Cultural Communication. In her spare time, Gina is often designing Indigenous bead-work or at live music events.

      Grace is a skilled communications strategist motivated by the transformative impact of a compelling narrative. Her experience in local and federal government and grassroots organizing has allowed her to work inside and outside established systems to make positive change and tell impactful stories rooted in equity, creativity, and cultural fluency that uplift and center the voices of those who often go unheard. Grace graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Political Science and American Studies, concentrating on the history of marginalized and Indigenous people in the American West. Forever passionate about the arts, she can be found in her free time at the nearest (or sometimes farthest) museum, concert, or dance class.

      Gracyn is a communications strategist passionate about the ways in which powerful stories can drive social change. With experience in grassroots organizing, nonprofit communications, and workplace and labor advocacy, she has learned firsthand how words can be transformed into action. Gracyn recently graduated from New York University with a degree in Comparative Literature and dedicated her honors thesis to understanding how literature and other forms of media can inspire and propel social movements. In her free time, she likes to run all over Brooklyn, read, and try out new recipes.

      Hailey is a communications strategist with nearly a decade of experience in the West Coast political consulting and issue advocacy world, working on campaigns ranging from sexual violence prevention to education reform. She believes the key to changing hearts and minds is a compelling, narrative approach and is passionate about working closely with nonprofits, advocacy organizations, candidates, and corporations to develop holistic strategies that uplift community voices. A lifelong Southern California resident, Hailey is a proud Bruin and studied Political Science and Urban Planning at UCLA. On the weekends you can find her exploring local museums, trying new restaurants, and going to the movies.

Through RALLY’s work with the Washington Food Fund, California Tobacco Control Program, the United Way of Greater Los Angeles’ Everyone In campaign, and various other organizations, Haley has shown her ability to think strategically and creatively through her writing skills, social media expertise, and media placements. An outspoken advocate for equity, Haley is very passionate about the fight for change on and off the clock.

      Hannah is a seasoned communications strategist who knows the power of a good campaign to change hearts and minds, and inspire action. She has prior experience working for both elected representatives and nonprofit organizations, giving her unique insights into what it takes to make meaningful change and create impact. She has particular passion for shifting culture around issues of gender and racial equity, and brings expertise in narrative change, message development, policy advocacy, and campaign management to this work. Prior to joining RALLY, Hannah served as First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom's Communications Director in the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom.

Her extensive professional background, ranging from nonprofit to startup and higher education settings, informs her approach to advocacy and strategic communications. Hannah holds a degree in Public Health, as well as certificates in Neuroscience and Professional Writing, which she leverages to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences. Her ability to craft effective messaging and engage stakeholders has been key to her success in building impactful campaigns. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys running, listening to comedy podcasts, and trying out new vegetarian recipes.

      Hillary joined RALLY at its inception and has provided high-level strategy and communications guidance for more than fifty clients and counting. With a background in policy and law, Hillary is adept at simplifying complex advocacy challenges and transforming them into actionable, results-focused campaigns. She is proud of her work in growing RALLY’s environmental justice, educational equity, and litigation communications portfolios. She also co-led three impactful pro bono efforts - working with Chanel Miller to change how society thinks about sexual assault survivors, garnering support for the first DACA recipient detained under the Trump Administration, and supporting Mackenzie Fierceton as she brought her story of survival to The New Yorker. Internally, Hillary is committed to the professional development of staff and shaping RALLY’s culture.

    • Howli Pfeiffer

      Specializing in strategic message planning, grassroots organizing, and political communications, Howli uses her creative vision to communicate well-crafted correspondence that gains public support and opens up the possibilities of a wider world. Previously, Howli served as the Director of Message Planning for President Obama. In her time with the White House, she helped craft the President’s public message and bridged the gap between strategy and execution. Additionally, as Director of Correspondence for First Lady Michelle Obama, Howli was responsible for managing the First Lady’s communication with the hundreds of Americans who wrote to her each week. Howli graduated from Chico State with a degree in political science and journalism. When she is not at RALLY, she enjoys searching for the best burrito in San Francisco and spending time with her Bay Area-based friends.

    • Jack Spiegelman

      Jack develops and executes content strategy for RALLY’s digital accounts. His knowledge and deep understanding of online platforms have helped secure electoral victories, advance meaningful policy, and inspire progressive action. Prior to RALLY, Jack served as a digital organizer for both the Biden-Harris 2020 Presidential campaign and Mark Kelly’s winning campaign to represent Arizona in the US Senate. He has also been a digital strategist for several mission-driven campaigns and nonprofit organizations including the Aspen Institute and Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation. A native of Washington, D.C., Jack earned a BA with Honors in American Studies from Skidmore College. When he’s not cheering on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams, Jack loves playing soccer, attending concerts, and practicing guitar.

      Jacob combines communications expertise with a legal background and deep experience in media relations, message development, and campaign strategy. Prior to joining RALLY, Jacob worked on a variety of projects for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) in Los Angeles and served as the national spokesperson for the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) in Washington, D.C. Jacob enjoys exploring the music and food scene in Los Angeles with his wife Stacey and two young kids. A former ski instructor in the Lake Tahoe area and an outdoor sports enthusiast, Jacob loves California’s ski slopes and mountain bike trails.

Prior to joining RALLY, this included work with Bill Gates’ private office on efforts such as The Giving Pledge and Breakthrough Energy Ventures. Although Jason’s work has carried him across sectors, issues, and continents, it remains grounded in his belief that effective communications can build the trust, understanding, and inspiration needed to catalyze change.

      Katrina (she/her/hers) is a visual designer and media creator with a love for storytelling. Grounded by her experience growing up with immigrant parents, she aims to integrate social impact into the visual medium. At RALLY, Katrina helps amplify the messages of her cause-driven clients by producing visual solutions: including, but not limited to, branding guidelines, layout designs, and social media. Katrina graduated with a B.A. in Communication and minor in Cognitive Science-Design from UC San Diego. She enjoys New York Times crosswords, overanalyzing films, and stories that make us feel less alone.

      Storytelling for social impact became Keeley’s chief focus after covering politics, human rights abuses, and education for outlets in Cambodia, New Hampshire, and her native Washington state. Her decade-plus experience leading communications for congressional candidates, elected officials, philanthropies, and corporations informs her approach to building campaigns that resonate with the hearts and minds of diverse target audiences. She is passionate about information consumption and local news, and sees the production of engaging, truthful content as critical to preserving our democracy and creating a better world for future generations. A former college athlete, Keeley is an avid hiker and yogi – hobbies that power her drive to expand access to opportunity.

Her vision informed the development of a virtual storytelling content series for United Way of Greater Los Angeles during COVID-19 as well as a successful health equity campaign for C40 Cities in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. As a multimedia artist and the former creative director of an international travel publication, Lena believes in the power of creativity to drive social change.

      Leo brings a unique approach to strategic communications forged over many hard-fought ballot measures and issue campaigns. Leo believes in the art, science, and power of communications and strategy to help organizations and leaders make real change in the world. Today, he helps lead RALLY’s work on political campaigns and paid media, and revels in unpackaging complex issues from promoting solar energy to ending the tobacco epidemic to shaping our education system for the future. Previously, Leo worked at a political consulting firm, got his MBA from Berkeley, and planted RALLY’s flag in San Francisco.

      Manny is a communications strategist and advisor to foundations, non-profits, advocacy organizations, and philanthropists seeking to drive impact through communications. A seasoned expert in narrative change, media relations, and crisis and litigation communications, Manny has been an instrumental member of RALLY’s impact litigation practice and has helped numerous clients protect and bolster their brand and reputation, even in the face of complex communications challenges. His work has stretched from leading communications around the federal constitutional challenge to Proposition 8, paving the road to federal marriage equality, to supporting the day-to-day external communications for Black Lives Matter. Born in Nicaragua, Manny enjoys infusing poesy into daily conversations (practically a Nicaraguan pastime), though he sometimes struggles with American idioms.

    • Max Brimelow

      Max (he/him/his) is a video producer, editor, and motion graphics artist committed to supporting progressive causes through impactful storytelling. With a background in visual journalism, Max helps RALLY teams bring their creative visions to life, from ideation and script-writing to shooting, cutting, and animating. His work has helped many of RALLY’s clients spread their compelling messages on TV, digital, and social media channels. Raised in the U.K., Max has previously worked as a freelance journalist, teacher, and even a tour guide. In his free time, you might find him playing football (soccer), hiking, fishing, or enjoying a round of disc golf.

      Maxine is a digital communications strategist with a deep interest in using storytelling to change our planet and its inhabitants for the better. At RALLY, she uses her experience in higher education, community organizing, and the California legislature to create and execute digital strategy on social media and beyond. Maxine is a first-generation Chinese American woman who grew up in Scotland and California, and believes in the value of lived experience and cultural understanding to create positive change. When she’s not working, you can find Maxine dabbling in art projects and scratching her cat’s belly.

      Megan is a communications strategist passionate about advocating for underserved communities and creating positive change through storytelling. With her experience in nonprofits, public affairs, and community organizing, Megan has seen the power of strategic narrative building in shaping social change. Megan holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Media and Visual Culture Studies and a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of Redlands. She recently graduated with a Master’s in Urban and Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco, where she explored reproductive justice, immigrant rights, and economic justice. In her free time, you can find Megan reading a book with her two cats or keeping up to date with her favorite K-pop groups.

      As an integral member of RALLY’s finance team, Michelle (she/her) brings over 20 years of accounting and auditing experience from publishing and global engineering industries to small businesses. With strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, she supports RALLY’s fiscal operations and mission by consistently implementing process improvements and employing a steadfast dedication for streamlining all accounting functions. Michelle is passionate about volunteering for a variety of social justice issues with her three daughters and husband to embolden a new generation of advocates, voters, and consumers to create positive change.

    • Mickey Lynch

      Mickey (she/her) is a climate warrior and digital communications strategist with a background in brand strategy. She uses her combined digital and communications expertise to provide informed solutions for our clients. Mickey helped shape the Chinook Justice and Ship It Zero campaigns through landscape analysis, social auditing, and digital strategy development. Additionally, she has assisted clients with website and social media management. As a Gen-Z activist herself, Mickey believes in the power of creative solutions and youth leaders to create social change.

    • Miki Katoni

      Miki (he/him) is a seasoned video producer and motion graphics artist, possessing a rich background in documentary filmmaking.       Nick brings his unique experience working at the nexus of issue advocacy, public relations, and corporate communications to lead the design of brand advocacy and social impact campaigns at RALLY. From international NGOs to Fortune 500 companies, Nick advises clients on creating purposeful advocacy programs that build stakeholder trust, strengthen brand reputation, and grow social movements. A curious instigator, Nick pushes clients to weave advocacy into the foundation of their work by exploring communications strategies that activate new audiences through innovative, accessible campaigns. Nick received his B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Toledo, and his M.S. in Education from Lesley University. He does his best thinking while trail running in Marin, where he lives with his wife and pup.

      Noah is a political, media, and communications strategist with expertise in electoral campaigns, paid media, and messaging. Noah is passionate about telling clients’ stories through powerful and persuasive TV, mail, and digital advertising. At RALLY, he has worked to help elect candidates to local, state, and federal office, to secure big ballot measure wins, and to advance progressive public policy in multiple states. Noah’s TV, digital, and direct mail work has been recognized with awards from the American Association of Political Consultants and Campaigns and Elections magazine. Noah grew up in Oakland, California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Film and Digital Media and a Minor in Electronic Music.

      Olivia is a seasoned communicator with a passion for effecting positive change in her community. Her expertise stems from a diverse background including research and political campaigns work. She leverages her experience in strategic communications to advocate for important issues such as climate justice, educational equity, and reproductive health rights. Olivia holds Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Theater from the University of Miami and enjoys nature, reading, experimenting in the kitchen, and attending concerts, comedy shows, and soccer games. With a background in acting, she also has a deep love for theater.

    • Pi specializes in translating complex issues into engaging messaging, campaign strategies, and content. Pi works with foundations, brands, nonprofits and coalitions around the world on education equity, environmental justice, racial equity, and homelessness. Prior to RALLY, Pi worked at a consulting firm advising celebrities and brands on philanthropy, and spent almost a decade at the UN running campaigns and communications responses in complex political contexts. Pi’s work has taken her to more than 25 countries where she’s seen firsthand the power of storytelling for social change. She loves big ideas as much as getting things done, and finds joy in connection, nature and her very loud toddler.

From California to the Democratic Republic of Congo, she has helped build rights-based messaging, drive earned media outreach, and provide strategic thought partnership for organizations championing affordable housing, food security and sovereignty, and energy access. Born in New Delhi, India and raised by two generations of independent journalists, farmer leaders, and healthcare workers, René believes in the power of good trouble, hazelnut chocolate, and the US Women’s soccer team.

With a background in campaign organizing, grassroots activism, the podcast industry, and corporate social responsibility, Ria uses unique tactical approaches to proactively meet any client needs. At RALLY, Ria has supported campaign development and execution in issue areas such as California’s affordable housing crisis, the child welfare industry, tribal sovereignty, and voter engagement. Her passion for positive impact extends beyond the office, where she loves teaching fitness classes, sharing new recipes, and inviting friends for adventures in the great outdoors.

      Rodrigo is a visual communicator experienced in a wide range of digital mediums. He creates graphic solutions in print, web, motion, and interaction that best translates and moves clients’ ideas and messaging strategy towards its intended audience. He was the designer behind the brand identity for the All In Washington COVID-19 relief campaign across Washington State and a series of videos and infographics for the California Tobacco Control Program. Rodrigo believes that design is undeniably nestled at the core of a successful communications strategy and it should be used for a greater purpose — reinventing the world around us by giving it new colors.

Born in California, Sarah has lived across all corners of the country, from Alaska to New Jersey to Texas, and draws on these experiences in her passion for addressing and understanding of the issues we face today.

      Sheri is a sociologist in training with extensive experience in advising on the planning, research, and development of numerous social cause marketing campaigns that address issues like education, mental health, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. At RALLY, Sheri's primary focus is on driving impact by identifying critical insights, developing strategic plans, sharing best practices, and devising evidence-based solutions to shift public attitudes and behaviors. Sheri's academic credentials include a B.A. and M.A. in sociology. Before joining RALLY, she served as a leader for 17 years at the Ad Council, where she spearheaded the development of several award-winning PSA campaigns. Sheri is passionate about fostering a sense of belonging for everyone and is delighted to be part of a team dedicated to serving others and each other.
