Alisha Qiu is an Account Associate in RALLY’s San Francisco office, with experience in media relations, grassroots organizing, and digital execution.
At RALLY, Alisha works on earned media strategy and facilitates guerrilla marketing tactics for COAL + ICE, an immersive documentary photography and video exhibition that visually narrates the consequences of the continued use of fossil fuels, to bring the exhibition’s story to life. In addition to her work with COAL + ICE, Alisha also combines her strategic communications and grassroots experience to support and amplify Tipping Point Community’s ongoing initiatives to provide feasible solutions to chronic homelessness in San Francisco.
Prior to joining RALLY, Alisha was a member of DKC’s Media/Tech practice and Analytics team. She conducted analysis of media and competitor landscapes to inform strategic communications plans, executed on public relations strategies for groundbreaking companies and brands such as Refinery29, Miso Robotics and Lonely Planet, and crafted digital content and strategy for Caboodles. While at DKC, Alisha also drove analysis and reporting on social media sentiment and dissenter for the American Museum of Natural History in New York to form the foundation of the institution’s public affairs strategy.
Alisha holds a dual BBA and Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) as well as a strong preference for the Oxford comma. In her spare time, Alisha enjoys collecting more books than she has time to read.
