Alisha Qiu is an Account Executive in RALLY’s San Francisco office, with experience in strategic communications, campaign management and execution, and media relations.
At RALLY, Alisha spends her days reimagining high school with the XQ Institute, advocating for the wellbeing of all San Franciscans with GLIDE, and building communities that flourish with the Alliance for Greater Works’ Well-Being in Rural Communities program.
Alisha led narrative change efforts and internal communications capacity building for Prospera Housing Community Services, a San Antonio-based affordable housing and services provider, and in collaboration with the California Independent System Operator. In addition to her work with Prospera and the CAISO, Alisha has also executed successful earned media outreach programs for The Trace’s Since Parkland project, SEIU-UHW, and Imaginable Futures, and helped launch Tipping Point’s All In campaign to end homelessness in her adopted city.
Prior to joining RALLY, Alisha was a member of DKC’s Media/Tech practice and Analytics team. She conducted an analysis of media and competitor landscapes to inform strategic communications plans, executed public relations strategies for groundbreaking companies and brands such as Refinery29, Miso Robotics, and Lonely Planet, and crafted digital content and strategy for Caboodles. While at DKC, Alisha also drove analysis and reporting on social media sentiment for the American Museum of Natural History in New York to form the foundation of the institution’s public affairs strategy.
Alisha holds a dual BBA and Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) as well as a strong preference for the Oxford comma. In her spare time, Alisha enjoys collecting more books than she has time to read.
