Kaitlin Funaro is an Account Manager at RALLY specializing in communication strategy and media relations. She has a background in news production and spent seven years as an international radio news producer in the fields of business, technology, and breaking news.
Kaitlin currently works with the global TIME’S UP movement that began when women in entertainment called time on sexual harassment, abuse and inequality in their own industry and joined forces with women from dozens of industries to create safer and more equitable workplaces. Kaitlin works with TIME’S UP’s many leaders to expand the movement’s reach and impact and develop a legislative and policy strategy to take TIME’S UP’s call to action into boardrooms and legislative chambers to create lasting change.
Previously, Kaitlin worked with the national environmental law firm Earthjustice on the zero-emissions energy and transportation campaign, Right to Zero, and with NARAL Pro-Choice America. With NARAL, Kaitlin led the communications, media relations, and organizing around All Access 2016, a night of music and comedy supporting abortion rights. All Access brought celebrities, activists, and abortion rights supporters together in 30 cities across the country on September 10, 2016, capped off with a concert in Cleveland featuring the Billboard 100 chart-topping artist Sia.
Prior to joining RALLY, Kaitlin worked as a radio news producer in Los Angeles for NPR affiliate KPCC and American Public Media’s ‘Marketplace’. Previously, she was a business & economics producer for the BBC based in London where she produced the early morning financial news program ‘Wake Up to Money’ and covered European and domestic business news.
When not at RALLY, Kaitlin is usually at the park with her two small children. She also knows all of the words to an awkward number of Broadway musicals.
